Cardwave’s July charity donation to benefit Action for Children

8th July 2016

This month, Cardwave’s charity donation will benefit Action for Children. The charity was chosen by Adolphus Subbey, Production Assistant, who commented: “Action for Children offers a wide spectrum of important services for children and young people across the UK, and they’ve managed to implement essential changes in how mistreatment is recognised in the eyes of the law. That’s a huge step, and I’m thankful to be able to support their continued success”.

Founded almost 150 years ago, Action for Children strives to provide children and young people with the love, support, and opportunity they need to reach their potential.

They have 650 projects across the UK, which include offering family support services and educational schemes, as well as functioning as an adoption agency.

Action for Children currently helps more than 300,000 children, young people, parents and carers, and continues to campaign for change and better services for those who need their help.

Raspberry Pi

Cardwave are delighted to be recognised by the Raspberry Pi Foundation for being a valued partner and supplier. We have enjoyed a close business relationship with the foundation since the massively successful launch of the Raspberry Pi in early 2012. Cardwave works with memory distributor, Xel Electronics, who supply Samsung SD cards to Premier Farnell and RS Components, two of the companies authorised by the charity to supply the Raspberry Pi. We are pleased to work with the foundation again on this superb SD card offering. Visit website
